Joe Henson migrated to New York City in 1976 to attend NYU Graduate School for Film and Television. After a brief foray in filmmaking, Joe bought his first "real camera" and fell in love. A self-taught photographer, Joe has been a Portrait Photographer in Manhattan since 1982. His clients number over 13,000 including such luminaries as Annette Bening, Doc Severinsen, Dick Cavett, Selma Blair and Chubby Checker.
Joe's personal work, black and white nudes, are an attempt to translate the power, grace and mystery of the female form. The work is exhibited as Giclee Prints on Hahnemuhle Fine Art Paper.
