Paul Anderson

After earning a BFA at The School of Visual Arts in New York City Paul continued his study of painting with John Phillip Osbourne at The Ridgewood Art Institute in New Jersey.

Paul enjoys exploring color & tone, and composition & design through the landscape. Along with brushwork & surface, they play an important part in creating space & atmosphere and light & shadow in his recent vibrant work.

Influenced by Wolf Kahn and Richard Mayhew some of Paul's recent work also combines Rothko's use of color filled space with the dramatic composition of Gustav Klimt's landscapes to create these contemporary and colorful works.
